چکیده
<span lang="EN-US">In this paper, a simultaneous application of geometric modification on patch elements and electromagnetic band gap (EBG) bandgap structures (hybrid method) has been suggested for 3.5 GHz wireless communication applications, to minimize the mutual coupling between radiating microstrip array antennas. The EBG slotted structure is composed one square ring three squares placed Rogers RO3010 having 10.2 h=1.27 mm which presents respectively its dielectric constant thickness. In approach, are geometrically modified, while also employing structures, formed by four cells, at near distance. geometry antenna introduction reduces an with approximately 33 dB hand improves gain 0.43 other hand. the methods which are used to analyze microstrip antennas, are divited into three categories: empirical methods, semi-empirical methods and full-wave analysis. empirical and semi-empirical methods are generally based on some fundamental simplifying assumptions about quality of surface current distribution and substrate thickness. thses simplificatioms cause low accuracy in field evaluation. ful...

A null steering GPS antenna array is designed in this paper. In the proposed method, the exact full wave antenna radiation properties with the effect of mutual couplings and nearby scatterers are considered to calculate the array steering vector, precisely. Although the proposed method is not constrained by the array geometry and the antenna element specifications, a five patch antenna elements...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of Antenna Array Beamformers with Mutual Coupling Effects
Antenna array beamformers suffer from performance deterioration in the presence of mutual coupling (MC) between array sensors. In this paper, we present a theoretical analysis in terms of the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) for the performance of antenna array beamformers under MC effects. Based on the model of a distortion matrix to encapsulate the MC effects, a closed-fo...
متن کاملA New Design of Log-Periodic Dipole Array (LPDA) Antenna
This paper presents a new approach for design of the log-periodic dipole array antenna (LPDA) based on using of different design parameters in the LPDA elements to control the antenna behavior. In the proposed procedure, the design parameters can control the value of forward gain over the operating frequency range, and also adjust the gain flatness. Furthermore, this design procedure can decrea...
متن کاملTechnique for Extension of Small Antenna Array Mutual-Coupling Data to Larger Antenna Arrays
A technique is presented whereby the mutual interaction between a small number of elements in a planar array can be interpolated and extrapolated to accurately predict the combined interactions in a much larger array of many elements. An approximate series expression is developed, based upon knowledge of the analytical characteristic behavior of the mutual admittance between small aperture ante...
